Broadband Requirements: Where computer data usage is high, separate broadband lines for data and IP telephony (VoIP) are recommended. A dedicated ADSL2+ Internet service is recommended. Certain factors such as network congestion, maintenance, technical capabilities, geographic factors, obstructions or interference, may affect the quality of service. If data is transmitted on the same line, it is recommended that computer downloads be reduced or stopped to ensure voice quality.
